hello all! i'm currently ready to crash and sleep but thought i'd do a blog post :) coz im in a blogging mood. i went to my boyfriend's best mate's 21st tonight and was quite a fun night.

i've had such an amazing time with this boy lately. he just makes me smile and i've never been 100% sure about anything before but i am now with him.
sometimes i wonder how the hell he puts up with me but at the same time i'm so happy he adores me with all my flaws and lil quirks. it's been really hard for me to open up and scary too, but he's really made me want to be scared and uncomfortable as long as i'm with him. he's just always there to support me and whenever i've gone that extra mile to let him in, he's done everything he can to make me feel safe, happy and loved. i feel like im gonna burst with this amazing feeling i've had since he's shown me what love can be.

life has been so crazy lately with work and im constantly tired but it's really forced me to tackle life head on and i think i've grown heaps coz of it.

i've caught up with friends during this week too and it's been great coz i've missed them all so much!!!!

yesterday i had a nice end to the week by going shopping with zeee boyfriend :)
we went to a mix of our fav stores and both got a few things then pigged out at grill'd for dinner.

anyway better catch up on beauty sleep, hope you've all had a good weekend! :)

hello lovelies!
i have been absent from the blogging world for ages! so much has happened i don't know where to start.
first of all, i finished my semester one studies! i actually just got the results yesterday and i did well. yay! super happy about that. especially since i started working full time during exams.
second of all, that leads me to my job now. i got a job at ANZ bank in the city! so I have been working there in the home loans department for a month now. it's been really stressful as it's 43 hours a week and i'm there from 8.30am-5pm every weekday. I don't drive either so it's putting up with unreliable public transport that makes it worst.
In other news, Justin and I are celebrating our 8 months next week. time has passed by so quick this year! it's already July and it's going to be christmas in no time! I've had the best time with this boy, he's been absolutely amazing in the last month while i've been just on the verge of pulling my hair out and whatnot, he's just been there for me so much.
he won me one of those soft toys encased inside those glass boxes where u put coins in and have to grab it out with the claw. woohoo! and then we debated over what animal the toy was and named it mamasita after the mexican restaurant we ate at that night :)

in random news, i've now had fried ice-cream! wooo :)

i have managed just now to start balancing my work life and normal life so i've been catching up with friends this past week :) me and tereza drove up to Mornington peninsula hot springs and had the best day and night ever. was so fun and relaxing :) and i caught up with my good friend krissy for a dinner date of dumplings and starbucks one day after work and i hadnt seen her for months so it was really good to catch up :)
and also i'm getting my wisdom teeth out in 3 weeks!! zomg! all four of them. wish me luck *scared*

and my guy bestfriend has gone to America for 4 months! that's right FOUR! so long :( we had his going away about 2 months ago, and here are some pics from the night.
and just some pics from random hangouts in the past few months :)
also i never actually blogged about my birthday weekend away back in april. I went away with the boy to Mornington Peninsula and although our kayaking trip was cancelled due to the crappy windy weather. we made last minute plans through the mazes and attempting to cook for ourselves and being tourists and going on ferries and it turned out to be quite an amazing weekend.
my cake hahah, my dog actually looks like this so to humor me he actually labelled it 'sammy'. bahaha this brain teaser seriously took us like an hour to figure out! it was such a head f*ck. u were only allowed to go in a sequence of colors to get to the middle and they made it so difficult that u would always end up in a dead end and there was only one possible way to the middle, gah!hence the celebration when we figured it out! yay :Dtube slides!!! :)nerding it out in a 3D 'scary' maze :p
so it's been a crazy ride the last few months but at the end of it all, i'm happy and i have some amazing people in my life. it's really scary that so much has been happening but im pretty excited for the future :)
i've got some new buys and all that and i STILL needa do my blog sale and i'll have so much to put up but i will get to that in time. hope everyone has been well :) and i shall try my best to blog again!

i turned 19 on tuesday. had quite a nice day and am going away to mornington peninsula with the boy tonight to spend the weekend there. we're going kayaking and staying near the beaches so excited! should be a good weekend :)

woke up to really nice weather today. my sleep last night was crappy because i had all these things on my mind. really pissed off at someone atm and contemplating weather to be mature about it or just be pissed. obviously, im pretty sure since im pissed off still i wont be in the state of mind to be mature about anything.
it's my bestfriend's birthday today, currently waiting for her to come over so we can celebrate :) shall be going out to eat tonight as well.
then her party is this weekend :)
i am going to try and have a really awesome day while kicking the person i am pissed at in my head and then at an appropriate time, hopefully it'll get sorted.

hello lovelies ♥
so really havent done too much this past week except try and get my spirits back up. i did go to the city with my bestfriend and we organized his trip to america (he's going for 3-4 months this year! jealoussssss)

thank-you for all the nice comments on my last post. one thing i really miss about blogging is i guess the sense of community and anonymity, like obviously you guys know my name and face but i've never met most of you in real life and yet we know what's happening in eachother's lives and always have words of kindness to leave eachother. it's really nice. ♥
as promised in my last post, i did do a bit of shopping. i picked up a pair of wedge boots;
and also bought a few new dresses;
there's another dress but i wore it before i could take a picture :p maybe it shall make an appearance in an outfit of the day :)

this week i'm catching up with a few good friends i havent seen for a while before uni starts (booo) so looking forward to that :D also one of my bestfriend's birthday is at the end of this week so looking forward to that, i dont see as much of her these days so it should be good :)

hello all! it has been a while again, i've just become incredibly sucky at this blogging stuff :( really will make more of an effort to get back into it though
have had a bit of a shitty emotional past 2 weeks but it's kinda looking up. ive just had a lot of conflicts with friends and its made me question who i am. having the boyfriend away for a whole month really sucked ass too.
i've also done a lot of questioning about being with someone and what that means, you know the whole letting all your walls down and being vulnerable. i think im starting to realize though that it's not about fitting into his life that i should be worried about but whether he fits into mine and whether im allowing him to. He's pretty much always there for me and obviously wants to stick around and thinks im something special which god knows why but maybe i should just embrace it and be happy. I think i need to just take that leap of faith for good. much easier said than done.
I had a bit of a rough day today, did some retail therapy with my mum but then all that good was reversed by trying to bring up an emotional topic with her. she just never understands, so a teeny bit of escaped tears later, phone call to the bestfriend, suddenly get a phone call from him and he comes over to see me even though he's worked a 10 hour day and also had night school. not only that but he sits there on my bed for a good hour and listens to my crap and gives me hugs and kisses. im really so lucky to have him. so why is it that i cant be patient, take risks, and think less when it comes to him when he's so obviously worth it?

concluded, my plan of action is that im sick of losing sleep, drowning myself in chocolate, getting frown lines and treading on eggshells.
someone wise told me something today and that was that true friends dont accuse you of being hypocritical constantly, judge you because you judged them, hurt you because you hurt them or most of all, make you feel like you should be someone else.
and when i look at it like that, i see who my true friends are, who i should let decide whether they think my friendship is worth it, and who is just wasted effort and taking up undeserved room in my life.

i want to be surrounded by people who deserve me when im at my best but will stick by me and love me when im at my worst. people who appreciate when im trying my hardest and understand when i fuck up and accept it when i cant explain.

it just sucks so bad when you have to accept things like the people you thought were important shouldnt be and that time changes everything. i just have to keep reminding myself that life is what it's meant to be and whatever it serves up to me im gonna have to face it, and if im gonna do that, i only need the people who truly care and are not out to bring me down.

im sick of feeling selfish when i go after something that someone else wants, fucking hell bitch work for it and fight for it if you want it that much, im sick of modifying myself because someone cant handle me, im sick of people taking my words and twisting them, im sick of apologizing for my past, im sick of people who i thought knew me thinking the very worst of me, and most of all, im sick of feeling like i have to put in effort where im not wanted. it's draining me

i hope you guys all had a good valentines day as well, the boy took me out but let's say our night didnt go to plan and we ended up doing random things but it was so much fun. he was really thoughtful with his gifts and his card was probably one of the best ive ever received *corny moment*

summer lovin'

hello all ♥ it's been a hectic few weeks, i've been catching up with a few good friends and just chilling out to the max. i was unwell for a bit (more on that later on) and also super stressed about my uni course decision for this year and enrolment. I did end up accepting my bachelor of commerce transfer over my bachelor of communication design transfer and ditched my double degree. I hope i won't regret the decision :)
also have been a bit lonely and trying to keep the boyfriend off my mind since he's across the world travelling atm. it's been a huge pain and my poor body and mind is suffering a bit. stupid boy.

anyway i went on a 3 day road trip up to the mornington peninsula with my bestfriend! :) it was amazing.

i did 3 things i will always remember;
1. made friends with the neighbours and partied crazy style
2. had the worst hangover in the world and thought i was dying
3. broke out in hives coz of a crazy allergic reaction to something on the strawberry farm

we did heaps of things like visit the mazes, beaches and carnivals. we also went vintage/op shopping and got great bargains!
it was just so good to get away from melbourne for a few days :)

also me and my friend annie have made a big bucket list of places to eat in melbourne so we've been slowly crossing off all the places
been preeetty amazing fun actually

i'm currently procrastinating from having to clean my room and stuff. i will be doing a big blog sale, getting rid of all my designer brand eyeshadows and lipsticks as i rarely touch either item now :( so sad. currently working up the motivation to actually take pictures of everything and list them up though. be patient with me :)

off to the markets tomorrow with the bestfriend and also have driving lessons. hopefully get hours done and get my license soon! :)

eeek! i am the worst with updating. my apologies :) so this is my first post for 2011!
summer in melb has been crapola so far, it's been raining heaps and so my plans for sunbaking, road trips and beach days has failed.
today however i woke up and it's sunny with no rain, thank the lord! also praying for the people who have been affected by the QLD floods.. :(
the weather has made me sick too. coughed up heaps of flem today. not so great

i shall offer some updates :) yesterday one of my good friends came over and we went exploring in the city and had some amazing pizza at one of my favourite bars/hang outs- the lucky coq. we went all around chapel street prahran and visited the chapel street bazaar.

and last week i celebrated my two months with the boy. decided to be original and actually cook and do a picnic down in geelong near the beach. (credit goes to my friend for suggestion but me for sweating it out in the kitchen blaaaaah!!)

the boy cooked breakie for me the next day though and we went on a helicopter ride which was heaps fun :D

im missing him a lot because he's over in thailand 293848758578 miles away for a month.
but brightside- i can do my summer bucket list and go interstate with my bestfriends once we have consistent summer weather woohoo!

also i wanted these hot pink and black doc martens for xmas and one of my bestfriends bought them for me. im struggling to pull them off. keeper or not?

ALSO in epic saving mode coz just bought a new PC, and also if you guys have noticed i don't touch even 80% of my make up collection anymore. so i'll be selling nearly all my eyeshadows and designer make up stuff soon in a blog sale. i'll list them cheap because i really need the moolah.

my jobs in retail are not giving me consistent shifts again so if any melbourne people have recommendations for jobs please let me know, forever grateful ♥

hello all :)
since there's only a few hours left of 2010, i thought i'd do a blog post! ive been blogging very infrequently due to work and personal life and lack of free time but i think in 2011 i'll have much more free time and i'll be living it up and enjoying summer so should be heaps to blog about.

i stayed over in geelong last night with the boyfriend and this morning he told me to stay inside for a while, and i was like what why (thinking there's like something bad happening outside) and then he comes in and out and back again with a perfect pretty yellow rose picked for me which i thought was incredibly sweet seeing as it was 8am in the morning and we were both half asleep. therefore it is deserving of its own lil vase :)

moving onto something i havent done for a while!

in other news, i took out my lip piercing! i got sick of it and it made making out (a new hobby of mine :p hello gorgeous and sweet boyfriend) a bit difficult in the long term.
it was really good while it lasted and i do miss it a bit but i still have my tongue piercing to keep me company :)

i'm both super excited for 2011 to come and a bit hesitant because my boyfriend is going away to thailand for a month in january and i know it's gonna suck heaps because i'll miss him. hopefully it'll go really fast and i can keep myself occupied with friends and work.

i had quite a nice xmas too, i spent xmas eve with the boyfriend, we had dinner in docklands and then walked around the waterfront at night. on xmas day i had a family dinner.

i also went to Muse's concert with zee bestfriend, was pretty gooood :)

had a nice road trip featuring a ukulele with a small group of friends over the public holiday weekend as well, was quite fun :D

also updates in uni life: i got both transfers YES. so i have a choice between a transfer to bachelor of communication design or bachelor of commerce. i'm undecided but i'll be honest i'm leaning towards commerce because of the career opportunities but would just like to say BYE LILYDALE NEVER SEEING YOU AGAIN BIATCCCH!!!
updates in work: i worked on boxing day and a few stocktake days at myer, i am put off shopping centres so bad now. it was absolutely H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E

and meet my new love, the sunhat :D
really handy on sunny days and perfect for summer road trips except melbourne's weather is lame and when it's windy you gotta be careful it doesnt blow away :p

Hello all :) i'm currently lying in bed being a lazy bum and also dealing with a bad stomach bug :( i must have eaten something weird this weekend.
I'm gonna be cleaning/renovating my room again this week once i get some time, pictures shall be up after :)
i will also do outfits of the day and as i don't touch much of my high end make up anymore, blog sale? :)
This post shall be an update of the last 2 weeks, i've been hanging out with my boyfriend and we celebrated our one month last week. He was sweet enough to surprise me for dinner and bought me a teddy which we named butter chicken cos we went for indian haha

he told me to do a pose and then he started laughing mid way hahha! :)

i've gotten so many mozzie bites in the last few weeks and insect bites, soooo fricken ITCHY! it's driving me mad and im trying not to scratch them but failing.

i also caught up with my bestfriend for lunch and we ate too much and photowhored in one of his fav stores loool :)

I had a pretty good weekend, went away to geelong with the boy and my bestfriend and her boy. We also had one of Justin's friends' and his gf come along. We attempted to fish and stuff.

I really wanted to go on the ferris wheel at night but then it closed so we went the next day yay! after we searched the town for a place that did pancakes at 2pm in the arvo hahaha. was really nice :)
i'm working quite a bit this week at both my jobs and have a few late shifts at night which will be a drainer but tryna think about the moolah and coz xmas pressies cost a lot :) then i have muse's concert on wednesday with my bestie woohoo

i dropped by a friend's 19th birthday party on sat then went over to my bestie's for a movie night with her, her bf and my bf. was quite a fun night but im really tired right now from lack of sleep. we all know how big of a photowhore i can be, and i'm slowly converting the boy too LOL. what a photowhore he is :p

for movie choices, we watched grown ups and sex drive so had quite a few laughs

we also got creative and made custom name tags at the party, how awesome :D hahaha. later on he had to pick up some pizzas under my name, cecilia, and he walked in with his name tag saying "cecilia's slut" LOLOLOLOL slave.

hello lovelies!
i caught up with my dear friend krissy today who i hadn't seen for ages!
was a really fun day, we just ate at a nice restaurant and dnm'd and then did a bit of shopping. we both had shoe troubles, damn you nice shoes! first my sandals kinda fell apart and i had to go buy thongs to switch, then her ballet flats became super slippery to walk with and we both nearly stacked it. thanks unreliable footwear! :p

i picked up a fair bit of jewelry loot ♥
all cheap bargains! the most i paid for one thing was 6 bucks. woohoo :)
im trying to get back into posting about style/fashion/beauty so here's some photos of my haul :)
the boy whose quite sweet is driving me tomorrow to a different store to pick up a ring that sold out in my size at the store i went to today. he shall be repaid in hugs and kisses 8)

i've also picked up a few items for summer but instead of taking pictures of them, i'll try my best to do outfits of the day :)

so i have not been blogging so most of you will not know that ive had my lip piercing for over a month now but havent changed it from the original stud permanently till today (woohoo). this is because i changed it too early at 2 weeks and stuffed it up, i was told to wait 3 weeks as it was still healing but i didnt listen :p anyway it's finally re-healed and it felt right so i changed it last night. yuussss it has healed enough and it's all good :) i also bought a smaller crystal stud, the ring that goes over the lip pluss other stuff i can change it to eventually but i quite like the horse shoe.

i also went shopping with my bestfriend today, but before that, i went to get waxed for summer. OMG one of the most painful experiences in my life. i will leave it at that.
picked up quite a few nice things for summer so quite fun. my bestie did a bit of xmas shopping so her bank acc is in pain. had an oporto burger today for lunch though and it was delicious, i wasnt going to coz of my changed lip piercing jewelry but in the end i was like eff it, i want a burger.

i've had quite a good week, i worked the last two days so today was a nice sleep in/break. i saw the boy tuesday night coz he picked me up from work and we drove to the beach. was a really fun night just lying on the beach talking and getting ice-cream, holding hands and going for a stroll ♥

hello lovelies, it's been nearly a month since my last post!
a lot of stuff has been happening and i've been super duper busy.
in regards to my blog, i think i will be back this summer but instead of just a beauty blog, it's going to be more about fashion & life. i'll still do occasional beauty bits etccc. but don't expect to see as much shopping/beauty as before as;
1. im saving for travel
2. i don't like make up that much anymore (don't hurt me!)
3. i shop once in a while now

i've finished uni now so hooray bring on the summer! i have to say, i was dying during my last week of uni as i had so much work i had not done. i'm a design student so i had two major folios to hand in for my studio classes, of which i left 13 weeks of work till the very last week. lots of crying, no sleep and a few days later, it was all done and handed in.

although even during that last week i still went beach with my bestfriend and participated in non study activities :p was totes worth it though :)

after i handed in my folios, me and my uni bestfriend celebrated by toasting on the beach and eating on pizza. was a very funny arvo actually and a few inappropriate for blogging experiences occurred :p im actually missing uni heaps (mostly because i didnt actually attend my classes most of the time) but it was lots of fun! ♥

on thursday night i went out for a bestfriend's bestfriend's birthday, bday girl booked out a hotel room and was kind enough to let me and my friends crash there. was quite a fun night :) although major lack of sleep.

Also that boy i blogged about in my last post briefly, ive been seeing him for the last 3 weeks and after a few fun dates, lots of texting and talking, we decided to start a relationship last night. his name is Justin and you guys might be seeing more of him in future posts. it's kinda funny because when i met him i was adamant on having an open relationship/not wanting a boyfriend. i still have a few commitment issues but i really like him so we'll see where it goes :)
he's a bit of a dork but i like guys that are a bit quirky and sweet :) and he's different from other dorks because he's confident and can have a joke with me (unlike most 'dorks' who are insecure) he also knows when he needs to be the man, plus he talks a lot and i talk a lot so it kinda just falls together :p and there's that butterflies chemistry feeling he gives me

Hello lovelies! i have not blogged for the longest time, but i thought i'd come back to give an update.
I have been drowning in uni work and also spending my spare time with my friends or at the gym. Uni lately has been pretty awesome but it's mainly because most of the time, i don't actually go to the classes but am off eating at a nice restaurant, lazing in a park or having a beer with my uni bestfriend ellen.

Also, i got my lip pierced. i really do like it and i think it was a good choice :) although i was rushed a bit and didnt get time to calm down before i got it done coz i was running late for my appointment. So once i got in, i was pretty much like yeah i want it pierced *postion chosen* *needle in* 5 mins later, my lip was pierced. I'm changing it into a silver hoop/ring that goes over my lip once it heals though (2 weeks baby)

Also i caught up with one of my close friends, krissy, it was really nice to see her as i hadn't seen her for the longest time and missed her heaps.
And just lately, i've been really happy, although tired (thanks art folios) I feel like i'm becoming me more and more and just learning about life and knowing myself better.
I've also learnt a lot about friendships and relationships. Made a few stupid decisions on the way but got there in the end.

However i get sad sometimes, it's just a weird part of me. And the other day i was in the crappest mood, for no reason and i made the stupid decision of going out that night and drinking. not to mention, i had a row with someone really close to me that night as well, so plus my bad mood, i had my first experience as the depressed drunk. So embarrassing, i just started crying. I had good friends who looked after me though, i just don't want to face the people who saw me cry and heard my feelings. I was so sad, when i got home but i received the sweetest text msg from one of my bestfriends and that stopped me from being even worst. I do think i need to be careful now that this sad front has moved into my emotions, hopefully it goes away soon. Not something i want to go into too much right now.
It was my bestfriend Carlos' bday that night though, so no matter the mood i was in, i couldn't miss it.

I've learnt that your closest friends aren't the ones that always do the right thing, are the best for you or are nice. But they are the ones that care the most, that do stupid things with you, that don't ask questions but are always there, that put you before others and will go out of their way for you, the ones who are still there, repeating the same things over and over again, just to make sure you're okay. You can be the biggest bitch and fail, and they will love you exactly the same.

I also have learnt that i don't want or need 102384775 lipsticks and eyeshadows. Too bad and too late coz i pretty much do have that much. I might do a huge blog sale soon because i don't wear eyeshadow or lipstick anymore. When i do wear eyeshadow, pretty much once every 1 or 2 months, i used the exact same palette. I don't buy much new make up anymore so i feel like i might give up my beauty blog and channel. It's just not really something i'm excited or passionate about anymore. I do like to blog though, so hence my new obsession with tumblr :p

I had a really good friend's 21st tonight, bit of a bitch dragging myself out of bed at first, because i was just sad and wanted to stay in bed. However i knew i had to pick myself up, i did, and i'm glad as it was a good night. The birthday girl is one of the sweestest, nicest, genuine people i know.

I talked to my bestfriend Carlos, and i felt better. We went out into the city after and just went with the flow. Ate junk food and saw a movie, featured a lot of hiking in the rain, apparently according to him "an experience" it was nice holding hands and walking in the rain though, minus the part where i was afraid i would slip and die every min in my heels.
Also, i have been talking to this guy a lot and we've been texting nearly every day for the past week. I don't know what's happening exactly and whether he is into me, i really wish guys would just kinda make a move as i don't like taking hints. However as i was feeling a bit down today, he texted me again, and apart from being a confidence booster (which i did need, hehe) it was really nice to talk to him.

Also in other news, i have a new job at Myer :) so atm, i have both toys r us and myer, i am contemplating quitting toys r us though. I just really love some of the people that work there so idk.

I have not decided whether i will come back and blog again on blogger yet, so bear with me and i hope everyone is well ♥

hello all! yes i have gotten my tongue pierced, and i LOVE it! i can't wait till it fully heals and i can change the barbell, i'm gonna have so much fun with it :)
i like it because it's fun but i can hide it if im in a business/professional environment. it didnt hurt when i got it at all, but it did a teeny bit after. i've had minimal swelling and it's day 2 today and i already can eat normal food again.
I had it done at around 3pm on thursday with my uni bestfriend ellen ♥ who held my hand (and nearly made me burst out laughing mid having a huge needle stuck in my tongue, damn you!!!) and she also got her lip done. we took pathetically long to eat our ice-cream after (mint choc from nz natural yummay!) and her older sis who is pretty awesome drove us and freaked out watching the piercings being done.

I won't be blogging on blogger for a while, as i've gotten into tumblr and also with uni, friends and life; i just don't have time to play around with make-up or take pictures of clothes. I'm curbing my spending and have not been buying new clothes or make up lately. I've also joined a gym this week and have gone twice. I can already see the difference so i'm happy :) but my body seriously aches coz i did too much the first session *dying*

I'll most likely randomly start blogging in the future again sometime but i'll leave you with a nice pic of me and my bestfriend from last week. these club taken photos never turn out nice but this one did so yay

Hello all, i've been having a mental block in regards to blogging lately. I don't know what's come over me, i just have not been in the mood and happy with what i write etc. Maybe a mental block in life?
I had a good friend's film shoot today, basically a zombie film so it was super fun doing costume and make up for the extras and taking part in it.
I also went dress shopping before an appointment i had later in the day, i have an outing this weekend (tonight! seeing as it's past 12am and im still awake...) and i felt like a new dress for the occasion. I'm pretty good at bargain hunting though so i didn't pay more than $50 for both of these dresses.

oh my! i have quite a bit of updating to do :) life's pretty hectic atm in terms of school but i'm actually really enjoying it. I've decided that if people in my life aren't gonna make an effort to be there then whatever, there's always other people who will take their spot. I'm sick of making excuses for people or having to modify myself in some way to suit others. I'm me, like me or piss off. Some people in my life are weird atm, and i'm so over feeling second best or figuring them out. And with others, i think i've just moved on. Sometimes it takes a few slaps in the face to wake up to reality.
I've also made a few friends at uni which i really like and i'm settling in. I applied to transfer to a different campus and i'm questioning whether i should cos i love the campus i'm at now so much.

also as some of you may know i'm going through a huge blush phase, i just love them. i havent really updated other additions as i havent blogged as much in the last month or so but here are the latest additions from this past week anywhoo;

I've received them through online shopping from the US and swaps as i don't pop out money so try not to pay retail from MAC over here in Australia. :)

hello lovelies ♥
so yay winter is finally over in Australia and nice spring weather is hopefully coming up. what does this mean? well, first off all- dresses without leggings and stockings, hello legs! and also shorts, skirts and playsuits woohoo!
I also got my fringe cut by my mum, which some of you may already know, is a hair dresser/beauty lady. I thought i could grow out my fringe since im 18 and all this year, you know do the sophisticated simple long hair thing but it bores me oh so much, and i hated that the only way i could keep my longgggg 'growing out' fringe out of my eyes was by using a clip or having a middle part (which i enjoy once in a while but is not really 'me')
I think having a fringe suits me, and like i can keep my side part but you can also still see both my eyes and half my face hasn't disappeared.

me and my mum went night time shopping tonight and we popped by portmans cos my mum is shop obsessed with them.

However a lot of their fashion is very 'young' and stuff now, which means ive found things i liked a lot but she was like :( because it was too young and not sophisticated-businessy enough for her.

I was only there to make her happy and wait for her to try on stuff but i found 2 good finds for myself :) one which i saw a few months ago and loved (but did not love the price tag therefore walked away) but now it's on sale!

Tomorrow is Ricky's birthday, and my mum is cooking a small feast to celebrate it tonight. She's currently running around trying to pick up my lil bro and then get Ricky a cake and then start cooking. Should be a good night. I also cleaned my room so i feel all refresheeedddd and stuff :)

So what's been up? well...
I've had a rough week as i had my phone stolen at a house party i went to (right out of my bag, stupid bitch) anyway and then i was contemplating moving out and then someone close to me passed away (which i won't go into too much about as it's private and i'm dealing with it in my own terms). So ive spent this week pretty much just doing nothing and feeling sad and trying to really think.
I also had a fight with one of my best mates and it sucked bad. He was being a bitch but so was i and i should have just been blunt and went UR BEING AN ARSEHOLE STOP. Like when you're really close to someone from the opposite sex, it gets a bit awkward sometimes just making sure you don't overstep any lines but i think i've established that if i do, he's my bestfriend, he'll tell me and i will tell him and we'll work it out. I was pretty upset but when you've known someone for years and you're close to them, you just both get over it and it's kinda like it never happened. Really weird but awesome at the same time.
It did make me realize that i havent been myself this last few months, it's funny how you don't realize that you've changed...

Anyway i was always this down to earth girl who could make fun of herself who liked glamorous, pretty things however was never defined by them..but lately i feel like i've become a bit consumed by it all. I was talking to one of my bestfriends and telling her that sometimes all i really want to do is smile, tie my hair up in a pony tail, bum around in trackies and eat pizza while watching action movies (of course this was later repeated to my other bestfriend cos that's what happens when you have two awesome pple in ur life who u share useless info with). But when you've become so used to presenting yourself a particular way or others have become accustomed to seeing you in some way, it's really hard to break the habit and you just go along with it.
I feel like i always have to act in some way or be something, which is so not me. I've started thinking so much about the most useless things and i don't know why. NONE of it matters.
I don't always have perfect makeup-heck sometimes i wonder why i even wear any, it's just so much effort and sometimes i think there's the smallest difference, i'm not tall, i say stupid things, i get angry easily, i am addicted to sweets and i hate exercise. I don't play any sports and i can be really selfish at times. But that's okay, because no one is perfect and i shouldn't aspire to be.
I've also set up a criteria on how i live life and that's just not cool at all...I've always been this really friendly, bubbly and approachable person but because of that, i've been taken advantage of by arseholes and bitches in the past and to be honest, i'm a bit scarred by it all. By choosing who i befriended or associated with, i could ensure there were no unpleasant stalker people, perves or backstabbing bitches.

So i set boundaries and would only let myself be close to people who i thought were this or that...the thing i forgot about is that i like imperfect people, i like being imperfect and i like doing stupid things or making friends with weird people in the moment as it's what life is about. So who cares if i get stalked again (actually yes i do but...i can always just punch them in the face and move on) I also miss liking someone, i think i hold myself a bit too high and i have such unrealistic standards and i need to wake up to reality and just go crazy and not care about what i'm wearing or how i look or what the bad things people around me are doing. With me, it's never been about what others think but what i think of myself. I need to let myself love life and love others. I think by allowing myself to truly like someone, i let them in and even in their imperfection and all, i will see them as perfect because i like them so it's a scary thing. But it's human nature and i think even if i try not to like someone or concentrate on their flaws, i will still feel what i feel.
I've become a bit of a bitch though because of my 'rules' and my 'standards' and my 'expectations'. I don't like it at all.

I've started talking to new friends and old friends lately and it made me realize how much i miss them. How different they all are and how i get along with all of them.
The thing about setting boundaries and following them is that you grow to expect certain things to play out and when they don't, you don't have a back up plan and just feel shit. Life shouldn't be about back up plans anywayyyy or boundaries, who gives a shit. We're all gonna die sooner or later so we should do whatever.

Also, I need to learn how to let something go. Sometimes i forget that if something is meant to be, it'll happen anyway. I used to believe in fate and i need to start believing in that again. I don't need to do anything except be myself and live life.

p.s. i'm going to the muse concert in december with my best mate, can't wait it's gonna be awesome! :) time to whip out some muse tracks and memorize the lines off by heart.

hey everyone ♥
i will be away from blogging for a while as i've started uni again and this semester it's all design units (i'm doing double bach degree in both business & communications) and that means i have a few folios to complete and well, not enough time on my hands and will be super busy.
i'm also at a new campus and I LOVE IT
for many reasons, a few being;
1. it's so much closer and like max 10 mins from melb cbd
2. everyone is so friendly there and super hot as well lol ;)
3. my units are really interesting

me and my uni bud ellen have had a blast with our first week and found all these amazing cheap places to eat on the main road. pretty cool!

today i went on a photoshoot outing for uni with my partner for the first project, who i got to know a bit better and is super nice.

i also had an outing last weekend which was nice and i got to catch up with my good friend louise and also go for coffee in the week as my uni is close to where she works sometimes during the week. mmmm caramel macchiatos

and have been hanging out with my awesome bestie, C* and also had a nice talk and stuff with my bestie T*

talking about coffee..i am becoming an addict, thanks early mornings and long days! i have to have at least one cappuccino a day. it's so bad..but so yum!

Also celebrated my lil brother's confirmation with close family and friends, was a lovely night.

going out for a very close friend's 19th tonight and a good mate's 19th later in the night. will be a blast :) need a quick nap though

and also, have a possible new job as a secretary, fingers crossed :)

middle part ♥

I never thought i would ever rock the middle part but here i am rocking it for the last few days. I'm surprised at the difference it makes and am embracing the change. The past few times i wore it with loose curls so i wanted to see how it would look straight-which is how my hair is naturally, as when uni starts next week, i might not have the time in the morning to curl it. I'm glad to report that i like it straight as well as curly! I am loving most of all- having my freaking fringe out of my face! I had such a problem with it when i had my side fringe which i was growing out. I think having a middle part frames my face better too so kudos.
I've also fallen in love with my YSL rouge volupte no. 7 lingerie pink again, which is what i'm wearing in these pics.

My forever21 haul which i purchased using my tax return money arrived today and i got these awesome red bows for my hair;

road trip baby

Yesterday me and the bestie T* drove up to ballarat for a road trip and to visit the ballarat wild life park! Was such an awesome day. We also went to the ballarat botanical gardens and it is seriously beautiful there..
I got to pat and feed the kangaroos so i was a happy chappy! :)
I also held a snake with my bestie and i was freaked out/bit nervous at first but once its head was away from my face it was all good. The koalas i have to say are the cutest things ever..!
We also stopped by an op shop there and i got some great finds- the most expensive being $2.50! it's like amazing compared to melbourne's op shops/vintage stores which prices are like $10-$50 a piece.
I've also changed my hair part from side to middle part- It was initially a way to keep my fringe which im tryna grow out, out of my face but i've been told it suits me more than my side part so i'm keeping it for a while.

Hello lovelies! ♥ okay so i've had a nice week! i caught up with two of my bestest friends and had some great days.
Tonight, I ate at the press club in melbourne (famous show Masterchef's George owns it) it was totally worth the wait for a table. The food was delicious and it was a great night just catching up with a close mate and being in a place with a relaxed and chill atmosphere.

And of course i was accompanied by my best guy mate who also likes dressing up and fine dining. However tonight was prolly the most expensive 2 people dining experience i've ever had- i've had a few, one with my bestfriend T* but yeah tonight was a step further and unfortunately for our wallets, it might be a start of a new tradition.

Also my mum took her god daughter shopping, and she's such a lovely girl so i was happy to accompany them. We picked up some new shoes and i got a dress while she picked up a new jacket. Also am now addicted to mocha milk tea with pearls at bubblecup, oh drools.

I am actually going backwards in time with what i did this week but on tuesday & wednesday i spent with my awesome bestie. On tuesday, we went on a journey to northland to pick up a pair of shoes i deadly wanted in my size which sold out everywhere else and also did a bit of exploring at the shopping centre. On wednesday, we went on a road trip to frankston, with some gps malfunction (scary stuff really...with where it lead us to dun dun dun) we ended up driving quite a distance in the opposite direction then made our way back and to frankston, was a great day and it was so fun driving up. We even raced some other jackass p plater! =p of course, we won yeah!
Also saw the movie Inception- i LOVED it. One of my fav movies of all time :)

Today one of MAC's collections that i've been waiting out for was released in australia- the in the groove collection (yes i know australia is far behind every other country's release blah) and i headed to my local MAC counter with wish list in hand. I knew the items i wanted; stereo rose, band of roses & jazzed lipstick. And the items i was thinking about also getting; petticoat & by candlelight. Of course i knew i couldnt buy them all and i swapped with someone for a brand new in box jazzed lipstick and swatched petticoat in person and didnt like it. So...

I love them all, i originally got stereo rose & band of roses then came back for by candlelight. Am having buyer's remorse for band of roses as although it is super pretty it was the most expensive and $50 (as opposed to an msf at $46 that is 3x the amount of product of the blush duo sigh) but i like it, so i don't know. should i keep it?
Also it is similar enough to dollymix which i also wanted to get. should i exchange it for dollymix? help a girl in need of urgent direction! =p

I also picked up a cute nautical striped blazer for the upcoming spring and summer weather to pair with dresses (aren't i preparing in advance? :D i hate winter)

I was accompanied by krissy and we again photowhored :)

Also sammy is a happy chappy again and pretty much recovered from his sickness/desexing woes.

Hello all ♥ i'm re-doing my last post (kinda) as i think it was a bit rushed and not organized enough (my my, i am fussy aren't i) I had a really awesome day catching up with a good friend who i haven't seen for a while and it was super fun just walking around the city, overdosing on coffee, walking way too much and shopping with Louise!
Also discovered how addictive caramel macchiatos are!

And i also picked up 3 Inglot lip duos. I really like them, one side is a creamy lip paint and the other a gloss. These were on sale for $7. And of course, i didn't buy just one, but three!

Hello beauties ♥ It has been a rough week for me. I got super sick (like choking in my own flem) and my pup Sammy was desexed and because he's such a lil guy, he's in quite a bit of pain. It makes me sad to see him like that and he has to wear a plastic cone around his head to prevent him biting his stitches (which he tries to do in an effort to 'fix himself' aka sammy plays doctor everytime we take the plastic cone off).
I finally did go to the doctors (out of no choice and really needing antibiotics) I'm on antibiotics now and i guess i'm feeling a bit better.

Hello lovelies :) Okay so i have some news. I got a new job last week in promotions/advertising. However i did some training for it and did some actual work yesterday. I realize it was a lot of over the phone promotion/advertising (aka the annoying shit- telemarketing) and it was just not for me. You know that you're in the wrong job when you dread waking up for it- not just the oh no not work again dread but the i want to kill myself if i have to sit through this job.
So i quit today, I'm not exactly sure what's gonna happen. I called up and talked to my manager and I did it today because i didnt want to drag it on further and make things more complicated to quit later on. Technically, I haven't "started" the job. I had a 2 hr period where i was doing what i would do in the job...and I hated it. I did get a customer in that period and i think that is why he didn't want me to quit and tried to convince me to stay. I know what i want though, and i need a job where i'm doing something practical not sitting at a desk with a headset. I also did not like the idea of having to manipulate someone, especially when i was not passionate about what i was selling or my job. The only thing i'm worried about is that i signed a contract and was told if i were to leave in the first 4 weeks i would have to pay a fee of $250. However i quit at the end of training, so i don't know if it applies. I tried to ask the manager about it but he kept convincing me to stay so i just got off the phone. I'm still contemplating whether to call up and ask or just leave it, I've been advise to leave it because if i bring it up, they might try and manipulate me and get the money from me even though i don't even think they're gonna pay me for the week's training i did.
BLAH. back to job searching, but at least i feel much happier. I was so cranky when i was working and it was 5 days a week of something i hated.
To celebrate, i took it easy today. Rested, as i'm still very sick (runny nose-flem blah). I then did an eyeshadow look which, i have not done for ages!

I'm so sick of being sick. My sore throat is getting better but guess what? I now have a horrible running nose and keep sneezing, thanks immune system. I also have just started at my new job and i'm struggling as my body just wants to rest and my head feels congested. I'm having a great time and enjoying it but it involves team work and talking and did i mention, a lot of talking? My throat is not happy and my stuffy nose makes talking and breathing at the same time, a bit difficult.
I have tried to keep things pretty simple this week due to being sick, I went to pick up my own babyliss curling iron with my bestie on thursday. We also went shoe shopping because she was on the search for a hot pair of heels to match a dress she was wearing to a close friend's wedding. The shoes this season do not match elegant light pink dresses well let's just say! But alas, perfect heels were found. I spotted this amazing canvas of paris (well actually 2-one of paris landscape and other of new york city- but could only buy one) and i wasn't sure if i could make it work for my room but i could picture it in my head and so i put it on hold. On friday after work i met up with my best guy mate cos we wanted to watch Toy story 3 (which is amazing btw) and i came a bit early so i picked it up! I was like heck, it's the last one i'm going to regret it if i don't. So glad i did :) even if i had to hold it around for the rest of the night!

Talking about Toy story 3, I went to watch it again tonight with my little brother as he's had a rough few weeks lately (i've been a really mean and strict sister) and i knew he'd love it. So have now officially seen it in 3D 2 times. (still love it ♥ dunno if i can handle a 3rd in a row though)

I have also been neglecting Sammy a bit due to my sickness (damn you sickness you wreck everything) and i'm too ill to take him for walks every day and on top of work, i just don't have the time. I do try to cuddle him and play with him though as he's playful and likes being held.

I do hope i recover soon, preferably i hope i can actually breathe properly by monday!

Since high school ended, I've found it's a bit difficult to keep in contact with my friends and close mates. I can only manage to keep in really close regular contact with my best friends and super close buds from high school. I hadn't had the chance to see my bestfriend for a few weeks cos of uni exams and commitments but we finally caught up this weekend and had a great 2 days of bestfriend time! so it was great fun! :)

On saturday, she did my hair and she did a wonderful job at it! It was my first time having my hair curled properly and i'm definitely thinking about getting my own curling iron (i used to have one but i didnt know how to use it so i sold it). I now need to decide on the size of the barrel as i went my curls loose but not toooo loose.

We spent some time at my house getting ready together then we drove to maccasssss and parked in a car park munching on our very healthy dinner. We decided to check out the neverland club but we didn't like it as it's more of a place to go to drink and chill with your mates as opposed to dancing. The music wasn't hard enough for us and the DJ kept slowing down the mix, it was kinda lame, and for $25 entry- it was so not worth it. The venue is nice though and we had high hopes when we arrived :)
But the good thing is 1.5kms away in South Melbourne was another club; Marquee. So that's where we headed :) Had a great night as the club was pretty packed and good.

There were cute boys at Marquee which helps because every single club has perverts that you have to ignore and put up with if you want to dance. At least the perverts are not butt ugly is the best you're gonna get.
There was one super cute boy but he was rejecting girls and dancing with boys the whole night so it was safe to say, i think he is gay. damn it!
Overall was a really random fun night, both me and my bestie got to dance to amazing music! We don't drink when we go out either (well except for water!) so it was all adrenalin and fun that kept us going.
I do have a slight regret, there was this cute blond guy that hit on me but he was a bit of a goof cos he was like winking at me (which because of a previous stalker has put me off that move, majorly, so i like had disgust on my face) and every time i turned around he would be near me trying to dance with me or talk to me. As my bestie pointed out, it was cute and stalkerishly sweet. He didn't grope me though and i do give him props for the effort. I was singing to a song and he even tried for a duet although he got a death glare back and me grabbing my bestie to move away. I'm not the type to hook up at clubs or ditch my girlfriends so all i would have done was maybe dance a bit (unfortunately his friend was a spastic and i did not want my bestfriend subjected to any dancing or possible groping from the freak) I kinda wish i gave him more of a chance though. Not my type but, i think i need a new type when it comes to guys and i was just complaining to my bestie about being bored with my life so it definitely would have been interesting if i take more chances.

However i have a rant! Fellow Melbournians may relate, when driving on the west gate freeway, there is an exit to go to DFO south wharf and down kings way, it is F*CKED. They built it SO stupidly, we have missed the exit like 4 times now. There's a sign saying exit and then you go into the lane and you keep driving and suddenly there's STUPID cones splitting the road and no sign to tell you, there's this teeny lane which looks like the emergency lane which you have to be in to get out using the exit. Even though you're IN the EXIT, you can't get out because the other lane is secluded with stupid cones. You are then forced to drive one way all the way down off the freeway and further down the road and make an illegal u-turn because apparently in the city on nearly every single road, it's illegal to make a right turn/u-turn. **major rage**

On friday night, we went to eat and catch up with a few friends, one who is going away to Malta for 3 months! wish him the best :)
We were into the idea of bowling so we ate at Waterfront restaurant in crown first (exxy but so so so yum- their chocolate fondue is HEAVEN) and then went kingpin bowling, and discovered they take a photo of you eveytime you bowl. So everytime someone bowled, we jumped into the shot and made stupid faces and poses =p we ended up buying 5 photos and i will scan them soon :) hilarious!
Later on in the night, we went CQ but it was alright only especially since clubbing is not fun if you're with people you don't like and a few of friends' friends dropped by plussss CQ is never good when i go, but everyone loves it?

Didn't take pictures of the mains but they were DELISH! Tereza had lobster risotto and i had barramundi with mussels in some YUM sauce with veggies. One of the waiters there was a bit of a weirdo though, when we arrived he kept insisting he knew me from somewhere, um no sir, i've never seen you in my whole life, now will you stop hovering over my table when you're not even my waiter and meant to be serving someone else and let me eat in peace thanks.

Oh and while driving to highpoint (i picked up some Ulta3 lippies which shall be swatched and reviewed in my next post. $2-3 lippie if it's good then damn that's pretty good) we spotted a guy in a chicken suit haha!

So, those who have read my last few posts will know i have been cleaning and renovating my room! I finally have it how i like it and i can honestly say i feel rejuvenated...now to maintain it haha! :) It took me a few days as i had a lot of stuff to re-organize. I still have not finished my wardrobe as i'm out of hangers and need to get more to hang up the rest of my stuff (hopefully it shall fit in my wardrobe section as they are in temporary storage in my bro & mum's rooms haha much to their disdain, oh and stuffed in a temp cupboard next to my desk) And also the shoe rack outside my room needs to be sorted!
Dear God, why am i slightly a hoarder??? I am halfway through sorting items for my blog beauty sale. I have way too much stuff which i can not use in this life time!

hello lovelies ♥ so today i have a haul, MAC's to the beach collection came out in Australia today. Normally, i'm not one to buy items' from MAC's limited edition collections. However i have regretted it in the past (volcanic ash exfoliator, i should have bought you :()
There was one item that caught my eye and sold out in other countries once it was released so of course, i had to check it out :)
The MUA at MAC went a bit crazy as i was deciding between dollymix (which i have wanted for ages) or the marine life highlighter/blush so she applied them both on me. She was so nice though and it looked really pretty but just a bit TOO dramatic for me, and she did sheer it out before i left on my request. The other MUAs came over to help me decide and i left with the marine life but it was a close call so i'll be back for dollymix. I also dropped by the estee lauder staff shop as i was kindly given a pass by a lovely girl (if you are reading this, thank-you Stella ♥)
My expectations were not met, if there was a camera capturing my face at the moment i said to the sales assistant "is this all the MAC stuff?" it would have read disappointment disappointment. There was a lot of old stock from past collections, and from the current collection maybe 2-5 lipglass colors, 2 blush colors, 10 eyeshadow colors (and not very great ones either) i did do a round of the store and came out with 3 items.

I went to the living doll sale yesterday with my dear krissy, was quite a lovely day although at one stage the dust in the warehouse sent me into a coughing fit haha.
We were met by girly musings and trying on layers of clothes hahaa.

also had a quick chat/breakie with my best mate as we met up beforehand so i could give him some ASOS goodies and he caught the train into the city with me.

I was about to spend only $15 as they had 3 items for $10 or one for $5 but then i just had to try on a jacket i had my eye on from the moment i walked into the store. I ended up spending $60, $10 for three items and $50 for one jacket from the current collection i assume.

ah so another break from blogging. I have been *this* close to pulling my hair out this last week. argh! exams assessments everywhere!
I've just been feeling dead overall. I feel like really blah. It's not much of a word but i've been lost for words lately so 'blah' seems to be the perfect adjective.
I received my lovely $200 fine from metro the other day too, i am of coursed overjoyed by this and not wanting to go and cry in the corner *sarcastic flat pan face*. it's the most stupidest reason why too and i am writing to explain and appeal.
I just want to sleep all day, I must force myself to study and live though and by the end of next week i will have freedom for a while to enjoy once my exams are over.
Also, earlier this week i went somewhere with my family and we were at a sunglasses store. The guy serving us was a total babe *major drool moment* =p and he was so nice to me and i was still daydreaming about his cuteness when my mum who stayed back at the store later told me how he was such an arsehole to her and tried to rip her off. Major turn off, you don't f*ck with my mama man! suddenly he lost all his appeal and grew like 3 extra eyebrows in my mind.
I'm also really confused about how i feel about someone. It's weird when you like someone who let's say, is not your 'type' at all. Cos obviously, he has to be pretty damn awesome for me to still like him but then i'll meet a guy who is my 'type' and then i get confused. Sometimes i wonder who i'll marry (i know i know so far away) but I wonder what my reaction would be if i could see into the future and see who it was (happy? disgusted? =p most likely surprised..?)

However i got a call at arnd 3.30pm from Apple saying they had my laptop repaired- yay! but problem: no one could give me a lift so i decided to suck it up and catch public transport because i really wanted my laptop back. i've missed you dear laptop!
They replaced my whole top inc the keyboard & touch pad. Cost $600 but i didnt have to pay cos it was under warranty, phew! it was so quick too :D i gave it in on saturday and it's ready by tuesday. i was expecting a two week delay so i'm ecstatic.
It was quite a long walk up puckle st to get to the apple service centre but the walk back was so so quick because i was practically dancing down the street with joy. That was until i got to moonee ponds station and realized the fact that i was carrying a $2000 laptop in my bag should not be made public lol. *yonk* and goodbye macbook.
I went footscray to meet up with my mum and her friends to eat, My best mate carlos met up with me as well. Poor him, being emo about exams and all- i totally understand it sucks major balls.

I've also decided to share my latest ebay finds; which i can not wait to receive but means i need to clear my closet (or well room, hello floor, chair and bed-drobe) of stuff i will not wear anymore to make space for these new babies!

I'm so drained today! but i enjoy blogging- it's like an outlet for moi, and i guess it allows you to look over your day. I need a break and i need sleep. I stayed up till after 4am last night doing my essay and then this morning a parcel came and the item was faulty so that made my day start on a shitty note. The bestfriend then picked me up to drive me to uni (alll the wayyyy in lilydaleee) and we got directed by the GPS to the west gate freeway (thanks GPS, not) instead of the normal way we normally go cos we made a wrong turn at the start and confused it. It took us around 2 and a half hours (with detours for petrol and maccas but stilll) as the west gate was jammed in traffic at arnd 12pm cos some doosh crashed his car and the cops took up a whole lane.

I really don't like Lilydale..prolly cos their train line comes every 40 mins and it's 2.5 hrs away by public transport for me but still, we did witness a very pretty part of the neighborhood;

I also fell down the steps outside when i went out to try and put out the bins before, Let me tell you, when i'm tired- my mind is like dead. So hello big graze featuring bruise on my right knee.
I think i will have time tomorrow to have a bit of a sleep in and then clean my room- I have so much make up and clothes i NEED to sell- i have no space to move around- i am a horrible hoarder atm.
And i will do an eyeshadow look! :) i miss eyeshadow. haha ♥
Can't f*ck around too much though as i have exams approaching very soon and a class exam/test this friday, major sigh.

All in all, for a monday, not too bad :)

I'm currently quite stressed out cos i have a 2000 word essay that is worth 40% of my overall grade to start writing, that's right- start. it's due tomorrow! and i hate the topic.
it's on gene engineering and i have to talk about ethical, social and bla bla implications of either the Monsanto vs Schmeiser or human genome project. sigh
i think i'll be talking about monsato vs s. but i will see. (i guess i don't have much time to decide though do i?!)
i had quite a good weekend. drove to the apple service center to drop off my macbook for repair and then did a bit of shopping with the bestfriend who was awesome enough to drive me to the repair centre. she's mega super cool :)
went exploring along puckle street, then drove the lil bro to vietnamese language school (to his dismay as he hates it but it will benefit him in VCE where he will no doubt beat my enter score cos he's a smartie)
I got a bruise on my hip bone cos i walked into the bestie's car door. :( now it has turned purple. not great. not great at all.
We visited llew (who's awesome as always) and then went to the dvd store to get a scary flick and a comedy/non scary. we chose julie & julia (boring, failed expectations) and the devil's chair (fucked up, oh so fucked up). The night in was good and we got to catch up and dnm.

i'm also after the single sportsgirl eyeshadows but my local has sold out of all the colors so if anyone can CP me some from their sportsgirl, please do, i will appreciate it a lot :) x

i picked up this cute bow beanie in both black and grey. the bow on the grey one is a bit crooked and i'm a perfectionist so i'm contemplating exchanging it. but that is my perfectionist side for you. But it sets it apart a bit from the black one so maybe that's a good thing? :)

In a bid to be a good student (in a last minute situation) i'm off to start on my essay now! hope everyone had a nice weekend :)

so today i got up the will power to go shopping, no not really but i had to get an external hard drive to back up everything on my laptop before i send it away to get fixed. ah yes...update; i accidently poured some liquid onto my laptop and i think a bit got in the keys or so cos the keyboard has stopped working. it's very depressing. my poor macbook ♥ i hope it survives.
so i did manage to pick up some cheap bargains- the most i spent on a single item today was $17. (not including the hard drive which of course cost me, cry*)

Do you ever have those moments where you just stop and think about how different things would be if you had done something else? A bit of a 'What If' moment, where you consider how everything is now- and how everything could be if...
I'm just feeling so stressed out about life right now. My head feels a bit like a blur. I'm not happy with the way things are but i'm not sure what to do about it. My feelings and thoughts are all coming at me at once.
I miss summer, I miss my bestfriend and the way things used to be when we didn't have responsibilities, I miss working all the time and having a constant stable cash flow, I miss having everything close and near, I miss laughing out loud, I miss taking chances, I miss not over-thinking, I miss being able to close my eyes at night with a clear mind, I miss knowing that tomorrow would be better than today.
I hate the little things in life- paying for petrol, worrying about siblings, liking a boy and not understanding why on earth him, feeling like shit for 'no reason', the high price tags on things you want, the higher price tags on things you need (hello education),
I like the way I think and the way i am but sometimes- I feel like there are things i would give up all the pretty clothes and make up for. I really would.
Not saying i don't like my life the way it is now, i do..I just wonder. And when priority calls- I know the things that would make me happy...I just don't know how to get them?
What if i try and don't succeed, i want these things so much that i don't think i would handle the feeling of failing or rejection. Not even that- i make excuses all the time- maybe i'm just scared- of like everything that matters. ♥
Why can't I just stop thinking and live?

long time no update :(
life has just been super stressful for me with assessments due every few days and exams coming up in a few weeks. I just have not been in the mood to dress up or apply eyeshadow. However i feel like im becoming a bit depressed (easy to fall into cos of the cold weather) and like really lethargic. So gotta get motivated babyyy!

Aside from major gossip girl marathons with hot choc, i can't say i've been up to much. The travel to lilydale whenever i have uni is a real drainer, words can't describe how much i hate it. I'm at prahran next semester @ swinburne's design campus so i may become arsty fartsy (as i quoted to krissy on an earlier discussion on facebook) I'm not so happy with having to fork out $150 (with student discount) for adobe photoshop though, as i don't have it and i need it for my design units next semester. blah

I went highpoint for a bit today (VIP night thing- did not buy much. had to go down to the bank to complain about something and then i bought a dress, a ring, a pair of earrings, some small essentails then left- imma good girl *stares at huge pile of unworn clothes in room and feels guilty*) then i met up with Carlos late in the afternoon cos he finished uni early. We discovered the funky backgrounds in photobooth;
haha! :)

yes i dyed my hair black! :) it's my natural color but i havent had it much for the last 6-7 years. I dyed it black last year but HATED it cos i used cheapie dye (garnier?) and the black was like an eww tone. This time i used professional hair dye and my mum whose a hair dresser mixed it and did it so turned out as i wanted :) i'm just going to let my hair grow out and all now and probably won't dye it for a long time.

hello all! sorry for the break in blogging. i have been busy with uni assessments and life in general. i had a mishap with public transport on friday, resulting in me coming 30 mins late to a tutorial in which i had to do an oral presentation, argh! good news is i think it went quite well but i know my tutor's a hard marker so i'm scared to expect anything.

I've had a few outfits + FOTDs that i've wanted to post but i have been sick and that means i've slept heaps and only waked up like an hr before i've had to go somewhere to get ready. I've always had to leave right away so no time to whip out the camera =p

However today which is sunday (though this post is on monday as it's after midnight) I spent with the family at home and then went to church and groceries shopping at night.
so i got to do a bit of clicking with the camera :) nothing exciting though- eyeshadow in church automatically makes you feel like a drag queen.

Saturday night i went to a good high school friend's house to celebrate her 18th birthday- was really fun to catch up with her as i hadn't seen her for AGES. and we went to laser tag and i discovered that i will laser shoot lil kids to win haha :D it was really fun as our team was all older people and the other two teams were literally lil kids like 5-12 year olds. and they were crazy, oh boy they were! they were out to laser kill me.
oh and i also learnt how to play pool! our team won too soo yay yes yay! and i got 3 balls in :D admittedly, my first 'goal' involved the white ball flying off the table and nearly killing someone but hey it was my first time okay!

The birthday girl is really sweet and her family is super nice.
Some or well 'one' of her guests was someone i don't really like and during the movie we watched late at night she kept like bitching about everyone and i felt like turning around and suffocating her with a pillow but the birthday girl was also talking so i resisted. I just hate how high school is over but some people haven't grown up.

I've had a good think about my life lately and i've decided to put a strong ban on my spending on clothes & make up because;

1. I need money for going out now that i'm 18. Fun ain't cheap
2. I have too many clothes- many i haven't even worn
3. I have too many lipsticks and eyeshadows- many i haven't worn
4. I need money for food. i like nice food. Food ain't cheap

and also i've decided..*drum roll* i'm gonna learn how to sew! my mum is a master at it (hah asian parents) so she will be my mentor and i think it'll be great. I love vintage shopping so now if i find something that isn't right but has great potential, i can make something amazing out of it. ♥

Also, my exams are coming up in June so time to study and revise so i don't have a panic attack when it comes around.

Tonight an old class mate of mine had a dinner to celebrate his 18th birthday so i came along :) it was a small gathering and most of his family was there so it was really sweet when they all did their speeches!
Unfortunately it was one of those- 'i like the birthday person but not some people there' parties. But a lot of the people there were very nice :)

I was going to just make a new one- but thought i've had this for a while- so i might as well continue on :) I like this template as i'm using my own image account now which is SO much better than blogger's (no offence blogger! :p) And i love how the pictures are clearer & bigger.

I am in the mood for resolutions and from now on, I plan to concentrate more on my school work (after this weekend :p) Less on useless things. I will sleep before 1am every night. I will keep my room clean (this one i know i won't keep but oh well) Friday nights will be my clubbing night. I will cherish and spend more time with my love ones. I will either ignore or tell the dickheads in the world that i dislike them and not bother with useless hellos and goodbyes. I will eat better, I will exercise (maybe) And i will smile and live in the moment!

i blame the travel i have to do to get to uni! see what happens when i start attending classes? i must stop :p haha but i did skip my wednesday lectures- this is what happens when they're not compulsory and the content can be downloadable online (and more interesting than listening to boring people go on and on)
I so so want to go out this long weekend (ANZAC day is monday which means no classes!) but i'm not feeling up to it, i have 2 major assessments due next week-both which i've hardly started. andddddd i have hardly any money left.
That said, in the class i was behind like 5 weeks- i have caught up! yay! it was so boring and took a lot of discipline on my brain but i did it and i am now up to date on the current weekly task :) woooo

I am supposed to be typing up a media textual analysis at the moment (and drinking hot chocolate :D) but i thought i'd give my blog some lovin' and i have pictures i've taken for it but never posted! This weekend has been crazy for me- I had uni from 8am-6pm (inclusive of travel time) on friday and then went out straight after and did not get home till after 5am, 20 hr days are draining! And then stupid stupid me decided my body could suck it and went out again on saturday night and again got home at around 5am. Had lots of fun though! although going to 2 clubs a night and drinking costs heaps :( i am brokeeee.

So i have had Chanel's rouge coco lippie in 05 mademoiselle for a while now- it's a much hyped color and tbh, i have not used it that much. For a while i could not decide whether or not i liked it- it's a mix of dusty rose, berry, pink & nude. I don't have another color like it- which is good i guess. And the verdict is- it's a keeper ♥
I still favor my rouge allures' but the formula and finish of the rouge coco range is quite nice. me likey :)

It seems the color shows different on everyone (like orange on some, brown on some, really pink on some) On me, it comes across as a muted darker pink- like hot pink's sophisticated sister.

hello all! so sorry for the big delay in posting- i have been super duper busy this past week.

i did quite a lot for my birthday week so i will give a photo journey! :)

first off make-up on saturday night for birthday dinner;

on monday- i had take out & dinner with the bestfriend who came over with lots of goodies for my birthday present. ♥ you darling. including 2x inglot palettes which i shall hopefully be doing some FOTDs with! :D

on tuesday- the bestfriend took me out for lunch on lygon street, was very sweet of her as it is very exxy there. We had gelato at this yum yum yummy gelato bar then we headed off to a gourmet restaurant where i discovered bloody marys taste like crap :p

the bestfriend slept over and on wednesday night we went to swinburne's nerd party at seven night club. Unfortunately the organizers were a bit stupid :) as about at least 1000 people rocked up and they had a place that could only cater for 200. We rocked up at 8.40pm (it wasnt supposed to start till 9) and that was early but there was already a massive line. They made everyone wait an hr then told them to go home, wth? There were like hundreds behind us in line too. So the city was filled with uni students dressed as nerds.

on saturday- i had my dinner and outing with friends. was quite a lovely although random night! my feet were killing me for two days after though (and one toe is still numb) after dinner, we headed off to lumia bar where i shouted a round of absolut vodka shots and we had our lovely cocktails. We then decided to head off to a club a few of my work friends love- Bang. Originally, we were gonna go to chasers as i had made a guest list but we left the bar after 10.30pm and wouldnt have made it before 11pm. Plus i had text msgs and calls from friends who were meeting me there saying it was dead and my best mate went the night before and he said the same thing so that was a nono.
Unfortunately bang wasn't really my scene, too much heavy metal music and a tiny rnb 'room'- it was a nice experience though :) we then headed off to CQ but they would only let me and 2 other friends in (apparently the ugly bouncer has high standards LOL) and so in the spirit of not ditching any friends we headed off to fusion at crown, rip off entry fee & drink prices but was a relief to have some good deejayed music to dance to finally! got home around 4am and went to sleep zzzzzz.

i've received some great presents but really cbf taking photos and jazz but big thanks to carlos t & krissy p as both their pressies were awesome. Carlos' took a few exchanges but now i have a versace pair of sunnies which i will cherish! :D and krissy- got me a few things that i LOVE- you are awesome lovely. i especially love this cute necklace she got me:
and she managed to get me something related to mocha, lippie, starbucks, nail polish & choc wrapped up in a pretty box. so cute & made me very happy!

also my cousin, bao, got me this awesome sony radio alarm clock ipod dock & player with remote thing which i have been using and love!

and the before mentioned versace sunnies!

BIG thank-you to tereza who got me the most awesome present of all- her friendship *naw corny moment* haha her present(s) had such variety and i loved it :) plus she pointed these sunnies out for me when i mentioned what i was after. She has also been driving me around everywhere and is the best big sis i could ever ask for ♥

I received many other great things which i appreciate so much too, if any of you are reading this- thank-you lovelies!

My ASOS order arrived this week too and i'm happy to report i love everything! i got a dress, a ring and an illamasqua blush. the ring fits perfectly! on the same day my strawberrynet order arrived too. Only got one thing & for such a bargain price! the stila contouring kit for $6 delivered :D

hello lovelies! so this will be my last post being 17 and pre-adult, tomorrow i shall be 18! i'm so excited as i'm the last one out of my close friends to turn 18.

48 hours till i'm 18-woohoo! :D Unfortunately ASOS has decided to have a sale and that means my savings have gone down again. I really do need that new job soon or i'll be busking on the streets soon. I'll be one of those untalented acts though.
In improving news, i weighed myself today and i've lost 2kgs (4.4lbs) of the weight i gained, dunno how since i haven't starved or exercised so i think the drinking a lot of water does help detox your body.
In really depressing news, Sammy has been sick lately and very 'emo' like. I'm so worried but the Vet would cost $155 due to public holiday (easter season) so we might wait till tuesday where it only cost $49 unless Sammy gets really bad then we'll take him to the animal hospital (which is open 24/7) and pay the $155. He's just been shaking and whimpering full on and he only eats when we actually hand/spoon feed him. We were all so worried as he was shaking so much it was like he was having a fit and at times he'd just stand in one spot for an hr and shake uncontrollably. He's so depressed too, he's hardly moving. However before we gave him a grilled chicken drumstick and he ate 2 of them haha and then i went to the supermarket and came back and he was like running around again and more happy than he has been. He's still ill though and i'm so worried so hopefully he recovers even more tomorrow.

happy easter darlings! :)
so i passed my L's and now have my learners permit! so in a year i should be able to drive :) i did some shopping after, i picked up Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. 'L' perfume, it was $20 for the 50ml as a chemist near me was having a really crazy clearance only till 2pm today and there was this big crowd huddled around the table so it drew my interest. i quite like it! i don't have anything that smells like it, it's very casual, floral and sweet. I love it! it'll def be my 'casual' fragrance, as my others; miss dior cherie & viva la juicy are very strong and statement type scents. When i wear it to work i feel like it's too much. Oh and the packaging of this perfume is so gorgeous! i love it, it's so pretty and retro.

I did a bit of vintage shopping too and found an amazing JAG blazer that fits perfectly- i love it so much! i also picked up a witchery blazer and a few amazing cardigans. Found a lovely fitted denim jacket to wear with my florals and also a nice houndstooth coat! ♥

Also in depressing news, i have gained weight lately- i didn't realize how much till i weighed myself recently and it's quite a bit. I haven't gone up a size but i used to be a size 8-10, and now a size 10 is a big tight on me in the hip region. The people i've told said they can't tell but i sure can :( and i purchased my 18th dress last year (i love it, it's gorgeous!) and it was looseish on me and now i tried it on last night and it's super tight around the bust area so i'm guessing that's where some of my weight gain went. I really need to detox in the next week and a half so i look good on the night! (by detox i mean no more overdose on chocolate not starve myself)
I just hate it though as i love wearing high waisted stuff and it looks good on my body but today i wore a pair of high waisted silk lover pants (that cost me heaps from the lover sale in melb recently) and IMO i didn't look as great as i did in them when i first got them :(
